BH-100L High Shear Homogenize ship to US Laboratory.
We got an inquiry from Ms. Esar, M.PH.D, a company located at Dallas of Texas, US. For a high Shear homogenize 100L capacity, but with 2.2kw and 220V 60HZ 1P. The structure need to suit working for the drum below, shared by Esar.
Berbica team had a short meeting, get a solution that OEM design to increase BH-100 structure. Make sure the lift height and the feet width suit the drum well.After the initial communication with Ms. Esar, she confirmed the order just in two days.
And we started the production soonest. One more thing is Ms. Esar required the plug need to be US standard as below photo, and we are lucky that our partner provide such plug under UL certified.
From the front machine layout, you can see the BH-100 Model homogenize consists of the main body structure, homogenize axle, homogenize head, electric control panel(converter, components, buttons, wires), homogenize motor, lift control motor. When we finished the body structure and put on the lift motor, we found that the lift motor only can run in one direction, this is because the department used 220V 0.55kw power motor. (Usually we use 3 phase power and the motor partner supply normal motors works well). We can chance the motor into 0.75kw model, which support moves up and down, but 0.75kw motor seat base is bigger, I try to display it clearly through below photo.
If we change the motor to 0.75kw, it can’t seat well onto the structure. Unless we remake the structure seat which will delay a few days for shipment.
If we keep the 0.55kw motor, it only can lift up, can not lift down.
At last we talked to a motor engineer, he helped us modified the motor, and make it support both lift up and down successfully.
Even this case caused a few days delay, we won good comments from Ms. Esar.
Sometimes such thing happens for a OEM machine, power changes, voltage changes, might influence the standard design and some parts can’t match very well.
Anyway, we learned a lesson from the case. Next time for the same OEM machine, we know which power motor should to choose to match 220V 60HZ voltage.

A surprise we gave to Ms. Esar is we made the whole machine body stainless steel. (Some machines on the market use metal and wrap it with stainless steel plate, from the outlook it is stainless steel, but inside is cheap metal structure ).
